Community Outreach & Missions

The goal of our outreach ministries is to be an evangelistic presence in our community. We seek to accomplish the Great Commission in a variety of ways, including our VBS program each summer, Gospel Clubs in our local schools, extending a warm welcome to new residents to our community through our N.E.W. Ministry, and services in a local nursing home.

+ Gospel Clubs
The participants of the Gospel Club Ministry seek to share the Gospel with area elementary school students. Clubs meet in public schools in Windsor and Windsor Locks one day a week following the normal school day. Clubs include snacks, songs, games, a Bible lesson, and Scripture memory.

+ N.E.W. Ministry
Every Thursday night, March-September, we deliver prepared welcome packets for new move-ins to our community. The packets have gifts as well as church information. The purpose of each visit is to graciously welcome new residents and let them know we would be glad to help them in any way we can.

+ Nursing Home Ministry
The nursing home ministry meets twice a month to minister to the residents at the Kimberly Hall Nursing Home in Windsor, CT. This ministry includes a time of fellowship, singing, and teaching from God’s Word

+ Servant Evangelism
In a variety of ways, we seek to let our community know we care about it and are here to serve it. We strive to do this throughout the year by taking gifts to our public servants and food to our town food pantry, handing out water at community events, taking meals to those in need, and looking for mercy ministry opportunities that arise in our community.
