Meet Our Leadership
Duane Farley, Senior Pastor
Duane Farley was born and raised in Canton, Ohio. During his high school years, the Lord kindled a desire in him for pastoral ministry which led to pursuing and earning a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts degree in biblical and theological studies from Bob Jones University and Seminary. During this time of training (1994-2001), Duane met and married his wife Mary.
After Duane served as an assistant pastor from 2001-2004 in West Hartford, CT, the Farleys moved to Louisville, KY where Duane earned his Master of Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In 2007, the Lord guided the Farleys to minister in New England and specifically at Calvary Baptist Church in Windsor Locks, CT. Duane has also earned a Th.M. degree in historical theology from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Pastor’s life and ministry passion is to experience and lead others into the delight of gospel-driven living. Also, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading Christian biographies and church history, traveling, and following college football. He and Mary are blessed with five children: Elizabeth, Hudson, Jonathan, Katie, and Christiana.
Alexander King, Youth Pastor
Pastor Alexander was raised in the Rochester, NY area and has desired to serve the Lord in full-time ministry since childhood. In preparation for God’s calling on his life, Alexander trained for the ministry at Gordon College and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies.
In 2020, Alexander married Meghan who also received a Bachelor’s degree from Gordon College in elementary education. Before coming to Calvary Baptist Church, Pastor Alexander served for nearly three years as a pastoral intern at First Baptist Church in Salem, MA. Now at CBC, he gives special attention to shepherding our teenagers, leading the congregational singing for our worship services, and assisting Pastor in many other areas of ministry.
Pastor Alexander enjoys reading science fiction and church history, playing guitar, and trying out new recipes and baking. Meghan has a great interest in reading about elementary education, loves teaching children, and taking hikes with Alexander.
